I’m there with you Abigail. I feel like this is validation for my own practices and what I write about. I’m alone in my family on seeing things this way so I appreciate the Substack family!

Life is for the lessons.. The work we do in the everyday world. Time is of the essence here. The wisdom in our words. It is to offer support for others to feel supported. Today has such importance. This moment in time.

Love this reminder to not be locked in by our past or job titles. Einstein’s life is an inspiration.

Whatever life throws at you — if we could just realise that what happened in our past isn’t who we are — then we’d see we can make a change in any moment of any day.

I’m learning that I don’t have to carry every old version of me. I can let them go — with gratitude — and show up now with heart.

And funny thing is, once you do that, you realise the power’s been in your hands all along — buried under the noise, the fear, the doubt. I’m starting to dig it up now.

This is beautiful! And yes, the power was always there, just buried. Sounds like you're really digging it up. Thanks for sharing this! 💪

This one landed like a monk’s bell in a fog of regret.

"You are not your past" sounds like a cliché until you actually try to live it. Then it becomes rebellion.

Because the ego loves its scrapbook of shame. It decorates its prison walls with every failure and dares you to believe in freedom.

But freedom isn’t earned. It’s chosen. Again and again. Even when your knees shake.

Thank you for the reminder. I needed it in my marrow.

This struck a chord with me. I've been so afraid to apply for a new job because my past job experiences gave me flashbacks of how I wasn't meeting expectations. But I apply anyway. I've been rejected multiple times, but I'm not as scared about rejection now compared to before.

That's huge progress! You're literally rewiring those fear patterns by applying anyway. Each rejection is building your resilience, not confirming your limitations. Keep going! 💪

Einstein wasn’t behind; he was just warming up in the wings.

The same guy labeled a failure ended up rewriting the universe. Not because he ignored rejection, but because he mined it for freedom.
