"Stop consuming: This is the last thing you read today about improvement. Now go improve something through action." - Mood follows action. Probably one of my greatest learnings over the past 10 years, and one I wished I'd learned 20 years ago.
I love your posts. I was surprised when I read that first paragraph as I just wrote a note on it yesterday i.e. we don't act because we are afraid of proving ourselves right that I can't do it and until I don't act I can hang on to that possibility of may be I can ir may be I can't. But we firget that in trying to avoid proving our limiting beliefs as right, we also rob ourselves the chance to show our mind that they are wrong. And the more we avoid the more the chances that we won't ve able to do that thing that we think we can't when the situation would require us to do it, the reason would be we never developed the skills ( self fulfilling prophecy)like those who we admire because no one is not born with those skills or capabilities. We all learn by trying failing learning and growing. I also love how you highlighted that so many of my clients including me fall into analysis paralysis, where we assume that we are doing something because we are thinking about it but we don't realise it has become an escape. So I love the directness with which you put it. And even though that is your signature to end it with an action step, but for this post it was spot on. Thank you for your insight packed posts. I wish I had read this post years ago, when I was stuck in this. But even now it is a good reminder that I need now and then.
I absolutely need to read this! I have a tendency to spend significant time researching, planning, and organizing every detail—yet when it comes to taking action, nothing happens. And still, I know exactly what needs to be done. After reading this, however, I am determined to take all of that preparation and finally put it onto paper. It may not be perfect, but it will be real, tangible, and a meaningful step forward. My motto is GET SOME before a workout! Well, I am going to GET SOME in another area of my life that I have passion for.
Action is everything. This is how you “manifest” your dreams/visions/goals into tangible reality. That’s the magic of it. But many people don’t like this fact because it means taking accountability for your actions too, which means everything is on you to make it happen. 😶
This post did match with my learning English process, which has been so difficult because I've needed other methodology, other teachers, other country, other and other, the more I've needed, the more I've searched, however I still do the same... Anything 😔 for my real improving...
Excellent piece. More certificates, degrees, seminars, courses, how-to books = more procrastination. Something to think about.

Momentum can’t be created or maintained without action. Good stuff brother
Definitely 💯 The best in life comes from compound interest, and putting the reps in every day
❤️👊🏻
This hits between the eyes with the clean precision of someone gently taking the excuses out of your hands and raising an eyebrow.
Planning as a comfort blanket… yes, guilty.
But that “adjacent isn’t the same as actual” ? That’s the one that hits the most — tidy, accurate, and annoyingly true.
A good jolt.
Thanks!

Needed this right now more than any other time. Thank you.
I did the thing! And I feel so much better!
How did you read my mind? It was my consciousness speaking to me.
We are all connected to the same grid ✨
Thanks so much !!

Right on.........I encourage all to get started.
On it!
Thank you!
That's a "great" article. And invaluable source of inspiration. Thanks
Hi,
Dennis the line that really moved me is that you'd learned it 20 years ago. Could ou please tell me what is your current age?
Wat een confrontatie, en oh zo waar!!
Waar past twijfel in dit verhaal....dáár heb ik last van..
