I so enjoyed reading this article a second time.. Its so refreshing and encourages one to give ourselves more compassion and consideration, with more grace. At times, when putting others needs before our own, causing Unnecessary, anxiety, when under the pressures of work and life’s difficulties.

Thank you, for your wise words.

Thank you brother.

Specifically, my answer would require a conversation with the person.

Conceptually, my advice would be to intentionally get a little uncomfortable daily in two ways.

1. Self-reflection: whether it’s journalling, meditating in whatever way, or simply just contemplating, use a small block of time to ask yourself questions regarding core values, mission in life, goals in short/mid/long term, strengths/weaknesses, etc. Honest reflection is simple but not easy.

2. Something external: physical, urge control, social, temperature, do something that causes the stress response with prepared strategies. Like reflection, only a short amount of time is needed to progressively cause adaptations.

I write primarily about both of these things on Substack with over 50 intentional stress challenges for those who want inspiration.

Thanks again for the feedback and great question 👊🏻
